Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not do with SCUTA Quant: the sandbox, market data, Copilot and community content.

Version 2026-10-09-draft

Draft

This document is a draft awaiting review by a lawyer. Text in [BRACKETS] is a placeholder that will be replaced before launch, and the wording may change.

1. Scope

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you do in SCUTA Quant, including code you or Copilot write and content you publish.

2. The code sandbox

Strategy and notebook code runs in an isolated sandbox with time, memory and network limits. Do not:

  • try to escape the sandbox, reach the network or other systems from it, or access other users’ data;
  • mine cryptocurrency, run unrelated workloads, or use the sandbox as general-purpose compute;
  • deliberately exhaust resources or degrade the Service for others;
  • get around plan limits, credits or rate limits, including by opening several accounts.

3. Market data

Do not scrape, bulk-download, redistribute, resell or publish market data from the Service, or use it to build another data product. See section 8 of the Terms of Service.

4. Security

Do not probe, scan or test the Service’s security, reverse engineer it, or access accounts that are not yours, except under a responsible disclosure arrangement agreed with us. Report vulnerabilities to [SECURITY EMAIL].

5. Unlawful and harmful use

  • Do not use the Service to plan or carry out market manipulation (for example spoofing, layering, wash trading or pump-and-dump schemes), fraud, or any other unlawful activity.
  • Do not use Copilot to create malware or other content that breaks the law or the AI provider’s usage policies.
  • Do not use the Service in breach of sanctions or export controls.

6. Community content

When you publish posts or comments:

  • do not present backtests or simulations as live or audited results, or promise or imply guaranteed returns;
  • do not promote paid signals, investment schemes or referral links;
  • do not harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or post hateful or sexual content;
  • do not post spam, other people’s personal data, or content you have no right to share.

7. Enforcement and reporting

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break this policy, in proportion to the problem and with notice where reasonable. Report content or behaviour with the report button in the community feed or at [CONTACT EMAIL].
